Your privacy is important to us. In this privacy statement, we explain what personal data we collect and use, and for what purpose. This statement applies to all MYKI services and the use of our website.www.myki.nl.

2. What data do we collect?
We collect personal data through our website and while providing our services. This occurs in the following situations:

On the website:

  • When subscribing to the newsletter: email address (and possibly your name)
  • When making an appointment via the digital agenda: email address

During the treatment process:

  • When compiling a digital client file, we collect:
  • Name
  • Address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Date of birth
  • Information about your health and treatment history (if relevant and with your consent)

This information is necessary to perform naturopathic treatments and to comply with the duty of care.


3. Purposes of data processing

We only process your data for the following purposes:

  • Maintaining a treatment and/or medical file, in accordance with legal requirements
  • Communication about the treatment
  • Contact us and schedule appointments via the digital calendara
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable (e.g. administration).
  • Sending our newsletter, if you have subscribed to it.

We do not collect data for marketing purposes and never sell your data to third parties.


As a healthcare provider, I am legally required to maintain a client file. This file contains personal information and any medical data necessary for proper treatment. This file is:

  • Treated with care and confidentiality
  • Only viewed by the practitioner
  • Retained for at least 20 years, in accordance with the Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO)

Information in your file will not be shared with third parties without your express permission, unless this is required by law.


4. Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, you'll receive periodic emails with news, tips, and updates about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email.


5. Appointments via the digital agenda

Onwww.myki.nlYou can easily schedule an appointment using a digital calendar. You'll only be asked for your email address. We use this solely to confirm the appointment or, if necessary, contact you about the appointment.


6. Third parties and data processing

We do not provide personal data to dUnless legally required, your data will be processed exclusively within the EU.

7. Cookies and tracking

We do not use tracking cookies, analytical tools, or other methods to track your browsing behavior. Visiting our website is completely anonymous.


8. Security of your data

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, or misuse. This includes encrypted communication (SSL), secure storage, and limited access to data.


9. Retention period

We will not retain your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The file retention period is 20 years, and the therapist will adhere to this.

Newsletter data: as long as you are subscribed.

Appointments via the digital agenda: up to 6 months after the scheduled appointment, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

You have the right to:

  • Have your data corrected or deleted
  • Objecting to the use of your data
  • To withdraw your consent
  • To file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority
